At the Societat Unió Musical Santa Cecília de Barx we want everyone to be able to access the information on this website, whatever their abilities or the device they use. This page sets out the measures we have taken, the limitations we are aware of and how to let us know if something does not work.
Measures in place
- A hierarchical heading structure on every page, to make screen-reader navigation easier.
- The language of each page is declared in the code, so screen readers use the correct pronunciation in Valencian, Spanish or English.
- Alternative text on images that carry information.
- Keyboard navigation throughout, including the language selector, plus a skip-to-content link.
- A responsive design for phones and tablets, with text that can be enlarged without losing information.
- Embedded third-party content (videos, calendars and forms) is not loaded until the visitor accepts it, so the site can be used without it.
Known limitations
- Some embedded third-party content (YouTube videos, Google calendars and forms) has its own interface, which is outside our control.
- Documents and photographs published in the past may not yet have complete alternative descriptions.
- The site has not undergone an external accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance with the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines; we are working steadily towards them.
Tell us
If you come across an accessibility barrier or need content in another format, write to us at sumsantaceciliabarx@gmail.com, stating the page and the problem. We will try to fix it and to provide the information another way in the meantime.
You can also use the Site map to find any content on the site.
